Thanks to Dee Dee Helbig of Ava Bella Day Spa for stopping by and sharing these great "do it yourself" summer beauty treatments.  

She also wanted to share a "Make-Up Mother's Day Giveaway."  Details on the giveaway are at the bottom of this post.


Yogurt, cucumber, green tea mask
 
This mask is great to calm red skin and to moisturize skin..
puree 1/4 cucumber, 1 T yogurt and a steeped bag of green tea
combine all ingredients and apply to skin. Leave on for 15 min. Rinse with cool water
 
 
Chocolate blueberry mask3 bars of "bakers chocolate" melted
1/4 cup of mashed blueberries
plastic wrap
 
melt chocolate and add mashed blueberries
when cool enough ( but not cold) apply to face- leaving eyes uncovered. Cut plastic wrap into strips. Apply strips over the mask- to keep it warm. leave on for 20 min. Rinse
 
The chocolate stimulates collagen and has a lifting effect to the skin. The blueberries are an antioxidant
